Thornbrook’s First Annual Tulip Gala
Dear Reader,
Thornbrook Home Care has chosen to raise funds and have the proceeds go to the Social Work Programs at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto, in caring for their clients.
We wish to make a difference in our community, by supporting our Social Workers in their Social Work Programs at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Toronto. We see the Social Workers as the backbone of the institution as they work diligently in the hospital’s background, finding solutions, solving challenges and looking after the wellbeing of their patients. But they need help in caring for their clients and respective families. There are many times due to a lack of funds that clients end up in difficult situations, struggling with obstacles and challenges and sometimes feeling a lack of respect and dignity.
We want to changes this. Why?
“Because we feel that by helping them, we help the hospital, and in choosing the hospital, we choose the community”.
On Thursday May 31st 2012 6:30pm - 11:00pm, Thornbrook Home Care is holding its First Annual Tulip Gala fundraiser at The Islington Golf Club, 45 Riverbank Drive Islington, for 150 guests. Tickets are $100 each, includes dinner, dancing, musical entertainment, walk through fashion show, live and silent auctions, raffle and door prizes.
